She comes across her master Edward Rochester, and as a twist in the story, it happens as an accident. Both develop a relationship. There is a tragedy in Rochester’s life, as long before, he had married a woman named Bertha. He had done it as his father was greedily after Bertha’s money. She goes home for the destitute in the vicinity. Now, there is a strange twist in the story. One fine night, somebody is at her doorstep, and she expects it to be Rochester. But, out of the dark emerges St. John with the news that Jane is not a poor woman anymore, and, in fact, a millionaire. She has bequeathed property from her deceased uncle John Eyre which is how she becomes rich.

Jane wants John and his sisters to share her property and wants John to be her brother. She is about to leave to India with him when suddenly she hears Rochester’s voice… The audiences are indeed deeply moved by the climax that follows.
