Friends and strangers alike help him. Llewyn takes up a journey from Greenwich Village to a club in Chicago. A music maestro awaits Llewyn and is ready to give him the surprise of his lifetime. Oscar Isaac has won the attention of cinema world by playing Llewyn Davis. The directors have carefully depicted the folklore background in the decade of the 1960’s. Llewyn is committed to a record label and does small jobs as folklore singer. The movie’s directors Joel and Ethan Coen usually have an obsession on patronizing their characters. But, Llewyn’s character has been toned down a bit. The directors have always been in the good books of critics. Their movies were always hits. But, the movie Inside Llewyn Davis is not an honest effort.; it could have been crafted better, owing to the expectations.

Verdict: The movie is worth watching for the actor in Oscar Isaac.
