Sony Pictures Entertainment is bringing to the big screen the picturized adaptation of Michael Lewis’ latest book, Flash Boys: A Wall Street Revolt. Since Lewis' earlier books have grossed fairly well, with at least 8 Oscar Nominations, it is safe to say Sony surely knows where to put its money. The plotline follows the book's narration on the rise of high-frequency trading (HFT) in the US equity market, and revolts against insider trading that have been on the high rise for a while now. This book, having caused quite a ruckus with the money makers of Wall Street, focuses its plot on how the transition of the stock market from the trading floor to electronic trading affected the market.
