The movie ‘
Fast Five
’ is a direction by
Justin Lin
, and he has proved his worth by coming up with a worthwhile action flick as ‘Fast Five’.
Paul Walker
does Brian O’Conner, a retired cop in the ‘Fast Five’.
Jordana Brewster
does Mia Torretto.
Vin Diesel
does the negative role of Dom in the movie.
Plot: Dom makes good his escape from prison with the help of his sister Mia Toretto. Both of them cross the borderlines of countries and prove elusive to the police officials. There is a final mission to be completed in Rio de Janeiro after which both can go scot-free. There is one tainted businessman who is after both of them. Before the federal agent
Dwayne Johnson
tracks them down, they should complete their mission. They could go free after the mission is completed. But, the real difficulty is that nobody could dodge Federal Agent Dwayne Johnson. The movie does not resemble any of the previous action flicks. The crew has made it look fresh. There are deft action scenes in the movie. Paul Walker appears tougher in the movie. He does logic-defying action scenes. He fights to save his girlfriend. There is plenty of humor in the midst of action scenes. Ludacris and Tyrese have done their part well. They have given a lighter vein to an action flick. Dialogues in the movie are not commendable. As a whole, the movie is satisfying as an action movie. Dwayne Johnson, as a federal agent uses obsolete tactics to corner the accused. But, there is a stark contrast to him in the movie. Johnson looks more threatening than Vin Diesel. The clash between these two in the movie’s midst is worth watching.
The screenplay and the work by stunt artistes are commendable. The movie has no good story, but characters in the story relate with each other well. An action flick as this should not be missed.
Verdict: Audiences across the world would sure expect sequels to the movie.
