Well when you hear the name of
Bappi Lahiri you cannot just stop tapping your foot since his named is more or less synonymous to Disco. He is not only reputed for composing music but he sang some of his songs too.
Now Bappi is gearing up for a Hollywood entry through a musical Moana. It is learnt that he will sing a rocking number in the funfilled adventure film. And well, it is an animated flick. The number is titled Shona (which means gold ).
Bappi doesn’t stop with singing a number for the film. He also gives his voice for Tamatoa, a character in the flick. Tamatoa is a huge crab in the film who has a liking for shiny creatures.
Bappi, who is a self-confessed enthusiast when it comes to innovation, expressed his joy in getting involved in the flick. This is the first attempt of Bappi in giving his voice for an animated character. He also revealed Tamatoa has resemblance to him.
The film has
Dwayne Johnson and Auli’i Cravalho in the cast. The film is supposed to hit Indian theatres in December. Watch this space for more updates.
