Swan Lake involves a ballerina who can justify the role of both innocent White Swan (the virtuous soul) and Black Swan which represents treachery and sensuality.

Natalie Portman’s acting skills is on full display in the role of White Swan, definitely a performance worthy of winning Oscars. Mila Kunis’ performance came as a surprise to the viewers. The musical score of the movie gathered a lot of appreciation from the audience.
The best part of the movie is that the viewers got to see the unseen part of the traditional Ballet that can’t be seen in conventional movies based on dance. The major turn off for the viewers was the unnecessary dragging the emotional sequences in the movie. The movie came out to be a great success by grossing over $106,952,327 in USA alone.
Verdict: To sum up, Black Swan is an engrossing and amazing engagement of mind for 110 minutes.
