I had watched Pokiri quite a few times back then to prepare for my role, and I couldn't help thinking, 'Hopefully I will get to act with Mahesh Babu someday'. And here I am.” Reporters asked Pranitha about her role in Srikanth Addala’s latest flick. She says, "I play a traditional Telugu girl from a very conservative family. I will be seen sporting simple kurtis and Patiala pants. It's a very relatable, girl-next-door character that will strike a chord with the audiences." She plays cousin to Mahesh Babu.
