Interestingly, ‘G2’ will be Adivi Sesh’s second attempt in the Hindi film industry after the 2022 bilingual ‘Major’. The action drama was a biography of the 26/11 braveheart Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who was posthumously awarded with India’s highest peacetime gallantry award, the Ashoka Chakra.
Adivi Sesh not only wrote the story and screenplay for the movie, but also played the main role of Major Unnikrishnan. The movie became a success both critically and commercially, earning 66 crores worldwide over a budget of 32 crores.
