Won’t The Film Industry Shut Down The Vulgar Comments Against Women?

During the release of Kaththi Sandai, we witnessed the vulgar comment by director “Suraj” against Tamannaah Bhatia, the heroine of the film. Now, a senior actor of Tollywood spit some vulgar words on girls. In the pre-release function of the Telugu movie, Rarandoi Veduka Chudham that features Naga Chaitanya and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles, actor Chalapathi Rao said that he doesn’t know whether girls are injurious to health or not but they are good at bed. This comment had created a huge controversy and everyone slammed the senior actor for his offensive comments. How could a senior person, speak filthily in public? Won’t he feel ashamed? Doesn’t he have any woman at his home? These are the questions shot against him. However, Akkineni Nagarjuna, who is against this comment tweeted, "I always respect women personally and in my films/I definitely do not agree wt Chalapati rao's derogatory comments/dinosaurs do not exist!!" The hero of Rarandoi Veduka Chudham, Chai said, "Respecting women is a way of life for me.The reactions shown on TV weren't for the statement made. Do I agree with it ?Absolutely NOT !" Rakul Preet Singh, who had been laughing at that moment with Chai didn’t understand what Chalapathi meant. Later, she tweeted, "For people who think @chay_akkineni n I ver laughing at those comments, telecast happens at a 5 mins lag n those reactions ver not for it." Rakul added, “Apologies 4 a late response 2 #ChalapathiRao comments!wish I understood d exact meanin of it then.I condemn it n my off stmnt wil b out soon.”
