Wikileaks Founder Arrested!

Julian Assange, the founder of Wikileaks was arrested today by the British Police. A complaint had been raised against him, regarding a sexual assault in Sweden. Following this he entered the Ecuadorian Embassy in London and sought their help. So, the London police couldn’t arrest him. But now, the Ecuador government withdrew the asylum status given to him, as he had violated international law.

Following this, the British Police entered the Ecuadorian Embassy and arrested him as per the Court order. Britain’s Internal Affairs Minister confirmed this. He had been claiming the asylum status for the past seven years. Assange will be produced before Westminster Magistrates’ Court.
