Ramadoss welcomes these steps taken by the Income Tax department. Vijayabaskar is asked to appear before the IT department on 17th August. A minister should visit the assembly, visit the people and serve them. But, Vijayabaskar visits the IT office regularly and also meets the higher authorities to relieve him from the case, says Ramadoss. If Vijayabaskar is proved to be guilty, then he would be arrested. Why the government holds him in the ministry, still, asks Ramadoss. A person, who is stuck with such illegal connections, should not be in the ministry, states Ramadoss, the PMK leader.
