of Thenandal Films. Recently, he spoke about the OTT release. Recently, thirty producers issued a statement regarding OTT Release. Murali stated that it couldn’t be considered as the representation of all the producers. Murali wants the makers to discuss the issues and solve it as soon as possible. When asked about the direct release on OTT, he stated that the direct release on the digital platforms might help the producers to get out of the financial burden during the lockdown period.
He also stated that the producers of the high budget movies are selling out their films to digital platforms. They should help the low-budget filmmakers to sell their films to the digital platforms, added Murali. He also stated that if the digital platforms could help 25 big-budget films, the producers could support 125 small budget films, said Murali Ramaswamy.
