Viduthalai Siruthaikal Didn’t Oppose LYCA – Thol Thirumavalavan

With the controversial comments over “Rajinikanth,” the politicians made the actor cancel his trip to Sri Lanka. All the politicians stated that LYCA is related to Rajapakse, who killed the Tamils. In reply to these statements, Vice President of LYCA, Prem Sivasamy stated that the political parties purposely made Rajini to feel embarrassed and also informed that the LYCA has no connection with Rajapakshe. Following this, Thol Thirumavalavan of Vidhuthalai Siruthaigal Katchi stated that he insisted Rajini that he should avoid going to Vavuniya and Rajini accepted it with courtesy. He also says that he has no political or personal benefit in requesting Rajini not to visit Vavuniya. The original beneficiaries are the Sri Lankan politicians and not Tamil politicians, stated Thirumavalavan. He also says that he has no idea to fight against LYCA, who are serving the Tamils. Thiruma states that he insisted Rajini to cancel his trip in this situation when UN condemns Sri Lanka for its act. As Rajini is being utilized by the Sri Lankan government, he stopped him, says Thiruma.
