Ravi constantly tries to stop Shalini and Shekar’s marriage; he thinks Shalini is marrying Shekar for his money, and he tells Shalini, he will give her money and asks her not to fool Shekar like she fooled him.
  But Shalini tells Ravi to stay out of this. Later, Ravi will prove to Shekar’s family that Shalini had kept their family jewellery as a mortgage. Shekar first believes this and throws Shalini out of the house. Ravi follows Shalini and sees her crying on the road. He feels very bad for the girl, who he once loved deeply. 
Ravi thinks Shalini may not have done this crime and later find out that she is innocent. He immediately rushes to her and apologizes. They both share a passionate glance thinking of their old memories. But Shekar comes there at that moment and asks Shalini to forgive him and begs her to come back home.
Shalini also accepts Shekar and goes back to his home. Ravi sees all this and thinks Shekar and Shalini are meant to be together and decides not to interfere in their life anymore and to move on with his life.
