Unnikrishnan’s Tamil Version Of Happy Birthday!

"P Unnikrishnan," the versatile singer has come out with a different idea of wishing a happy birthday. The singer and his daughter Uthara have made a Tamil version of Happy Birthday and uploaded on YouTube. The song has been hitting the headlines and has been spread at a quick pace in Whatsapp. When asked about his new attempt, the singer says that as someone from the US Tamil Federation requested this, he tried it efficiently. Actually, “Arivumathi,” a lyricist was requested by the Tamil Federation people for a good birthday lyric in Tamil. Then they contacted Arrol Corelli, the music composer, who contacted Unni. As they need a child's voice, Uthara was roped into sing, says Unni. The song was released on the 50th birthday of Unnikrishnan and the singer feels that it was a proud moment for him. People love to be wished in their mother tongue and hence it should be followed up with other languages too, says Unni.
