The TN farmers are suffering a lot due to the drought. Both the central and the state governments didn’t lend their ears to the farmers' protest. The farmers, who protested in Delhi, halted their protest after the request by “Edappadi K Palaniswami,” the incumbent CM of TN. After they had quit the protest temporarily, the EPS government filed in the Supreme Court that no farmer committed suicide due to drought but personal problems. This shocked the public and the farmers. Now, the film industry people are protesting for the farmers. Raghava Lawrence, who has been doing a lot of social services, has started a good deed now. His charitable trust has planned to collect funds to retrieve the wedlocks, which were mortgaged by the farmers' family. For this, 15 transgender people are gearing up to raise funds. They will start their collection in Chennai Mint area today at 10 AM.
