TNSTC Bus Unions Strike! Southern Railway Announces Special Trains!

Following the strike announcement from the TNSTC Unions, the Southern Railway has announced the special trains. As it is the summer holiday, many people will be affected due to the transport employees’ strike. So, the southern railway has announced some special trains to help the people reach home, safe. From tomorrow, special trains to Coimbatore, Tirunelveli and Thiruvarur will be operated from Chennai.

Chennai Egmore – Tirunelveli has 15 General compartments. The train starts at 7.40 Am on 15^th May 2017

Chennai Egmore – Tirunelveli (06067) will start at 10.10 PM. No reservation!  

Tirunelveli - Chennai Egmore (06068) will operate from 15^th May

Chennai Egmore – Tirunelveli (06069) will not operate on Thursday and Sunday

Chennai Central – Coimbatore train has 15 compartments and it start at 8 Am tomorrow

Another train from Chennai Central – Coimbatore will start at 8:30 Pm

Similarly, the No Reservation trains, from Coimbatore – Chennai Central (06072) and Chennai Central – Coimbatore (06071) will also be operated

Coimbatore – Chennai train will be operated on all the days except Monday and Thursday

Chennai – Thiruvarur Special train starts at 8 AM tomorrow

Thiruvarur – Chennai starts at 3:45 PM

Reservation started for Thiruvarur train.
