TASMAC shops are opened again by the TN government, after getting the favorable verdict from the nation’s Top Court. Earlier, the Madras High Court pronounced its verdict to shut the TASMAC shops until the lockdown gets lifted. The government appealed to the Supreme Court and reversed the verdict of Madras HC. The TASMAC’s business hour was 10 am to 5 pm and it is heard that from today, they would be operating until 7 pm.
TASMAC income from the government had already exceeded and shocked the people. The TASMAC collected Rs 163 crores on its first day of opening after it got permission from the Supreme Court. Many activists and politicians, including
