T Rajendar, the President of Latchiya Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam stated that his party would not contest in the Parliamentary Polls 2019. He said that he wants to contest in the state assembly polls and not the Lok Sabha. Rajendar said that he had been a Chatriyan, earlier and now, he had turned out to be a sensible Chanakyan and hence, he will think well before he acts. He also stated that in today’s politics, if a person feels that he is an intellectual, hard worker and a militant, then he will be cheated soon. TR says that he was offered to contest in the Parliamentary polls by a leading party. But, they told him to contest with their party symbol and hence he denied it, says TR.
