Sivakumar Lost It To Amitabh Bachchan!

“Sivakumar,” the highly talented actor had performed a two-hour speech on Mahabharata, recently. His excellence astonished everyone. From the entry to the cinema with Uyarndha Manithan till now, Sivakumar has been showing multiple faces with his talent. Although Suriya Sivakumar and Karthik Sivakumar steal the show today, they could not create the records by Sivakumar. Sivakumar lost his National Award to Amitabh Bachchan at the last moment in 1991. Sivakumar’s “Marupakkam” released in the year 1991. Jaya Bharathi and Radha paired him. The story is by Indra Parthasarathy and the film is directed by Sethu Madhavan. Jaya Bharathi received the Best Actress Award and the film received the Golden Lotus Award for the Best Film of the year. Sivakumar was supposed to get the award but, as the committee members favored Amitabh, the talented actor lost the honorary award. But, he is still lauded by the audiences for his excellent performances.
