Rajya Rani Express Derailed! No Casualties Reported!

Rajya Rani Express’ eight carriages derailed in UP. Rajya Rani Express from Meerut to Lucknow derailed today when it was traveling between Rampur and Mundapanda. At least ten people would have been injured. No casualties reported, so far. The injured people are getting treatment from the hospital, nearby. The inquiry has been going on. The reason for the derailing will be announced, soon. We have been hearing a lot of derailing news in the recent days. In November 2016, Indore-Patna Express derailed and killed 142 people. In January, this year, Bhubaneswar Express derailed and 32 people were reported as dead. Last month, Jabalpur-Nizamuddin Mahakaushal Express’ eight coaches were derailed and 50 people were injured. The Railways Minister Suresh Prabhu tweeted, “Personally monitoring the situation.Directed senior officers to rush to the spot. Ensure speedy relief and rescue operations. Enquiry ordered to look into the cause, strict action will be taken against any lapse.”
