“Ambareesh,” the veteran Kannada actor cum politician died due to massive cardiac arrest, yesterday night at Vikram Hospital, Bangalore. He had played in Tamil films including Priya with “Rajinikanth” and “Sridevi.” On hearing his death news, Rajini was terribly shocked and posted on his Twitter, “A wonderful human being ... my best friend ... I have lost you today and will miss you ... Rest In Peace #Ambrish” Ambareesh was the Information and Broadcasting Minister during the Man Mohan Singh rule in the center. Superstar Rajini has started to Bangalore to take part in Amabareesh’s funeral. May Ambareesh’s soul rest in peace!
