Preparations For Civic Polls Should Be Started – Stalin

“M K Stalin,” the acting leader of DMK party has stated that the preparations regarding the civic polls should be taken. He also states, “The State Election Commission should not listen to the Benami rule but the orders of Madras High Court. The state government is being ruled by a convict and the ADMK party has completely wiped off the state management. Now, they are destroying the civic management too. The basic needs of the people are satisfied by the local bodies and if the election for these local bodies is getting delayed, then it will affect the citizens of the state. I request the CM “Edappadi K Palaniswami” to follow the court rules and conduct the civic polls, without getting the permissions from the convict.” Stalin also mentioned that the elections should be held on 14th May, but the government is planning to postpone it.
