Porkalaththil Oru Poo is the Tamil film, which is based on the life history of Sri Lankan reporter, Isaipriya. The film, which was shot before a year, has been struggling to find the theaters in India. It was already released in Geneva before the Human Rights Commission.
K Ganesan is the director of this film and he had said that he had received life-threatening phone calls. It is heard that the censor officials insisted on removing a particular scene in the film, which the makers denied doing.
But, the makers say that they don’t understand why the Censor Board drags them for certification. They had appealed for it further but didn’t get positive results.
Earlier, it was announced that the film would be specially premiered for the media people on 26th November 2016, today. They had also arranged for a Press Meet. Now, it is announced that the exclusive premiere and the Press Meet had been canceled.
