" is one among the senior film editors in the southern movie industry. He had worked in a lot of Tamil and Telugu films. Anil had worked in nine Hindi films too. He had edited more than 200 films in his career. It is worth saying that Anil Malnad is the first editor to receive the National Award for editing. Besides the National Award, he had got a lot of state awards for his editing works. Due to some health-related issues, Anil Malnad, who was admitted to Apollo Hospitals in Chennai, died today morning. His mortal remains are kept at his residence in Chrompet, Chennai. The 66-year-old editor survived with his wife, a son and a daughter. Malnad’s address is: No 37/18, Nelliappar street, Bharathipuram, Chrompet, Chennai-44
