A rumor leaked yesterday that the customers who withdraw money from SBI ATM will be charged Rs. 25/ withdrawal. This created a furor and the customers started invading the SBI branches to clear their doubts with the officials. The SBI officials refuted the rumors on ATM charges. They said that there is no change made in the rules of SBI for withdrawing the money from ATM. The current format will continue, said the officials. They also informed that SBI would charge Rs. 25 for E-Wallet. SBI had introduced the E-Wallet method to withdraw money from ATM.
Election Commission of India has called for an All-party Meeting today to clear the rumors on the voting ballots.
