Markandey Katju, the former justice of Supreme Court often speaks about the political situation in Tamilnadu. He often says that he is also proud to say that he is a Tamil. But, now he doesn’t want to address himself as a Tamil as “Edapadi K Palanmiswmi” is continuing as the CM Of TN. Here is his Facebook post regarding this : “My fellow Tamizhans, A puppet of a jailbird has been made your Chief Minister, and you have done nothing about it ? You are the descendants of the great Cholas, Pandians and Cheras, will your great ancestors not be ashamed of you, seeing that you have fallen to such depths? You are the descendants of the great Tiruvalluvar, Ilango, Kambar, Andal and Subramania Bharathi. Have you no shame that you have accepted this disgrace without a murmur? I used to proudly say " Naanum oru Tamizhan ." But with what face can I say it now? I will now tell you this frankly: as long as this Palaniswamy, this stigma and slur on Tamizhans remains your C.M. I am no longer a Tamizhan. I refuse to be a member of people who don't mind living in disgrace and dishonour. I would rather be dead.”
