The actress has performed as the heroine and character artist in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Hindi films. She got married to Sumesh Menon in 2007. Even after her marriage, she did a few movies. Malavika quit the films in 2009 and settled in family life. As they say Aadiya Kaalum Paadiya Vaayum Chumma Irukkadhu, Malavika wants to re-enter the film industry. She intends to do any kind of roles including, sister/ sister-in-law, villain and guest appearance.
