After the inquiry, they found out that it was from Karur Kavithalaya Theater, the film had been pirated. The producer of the film filed a case against the theater owner and the Madras High Court ordered to arrest the theater owners and inquire them in the police custody. Earlier, the Theater Owners Association filed a petition to stop the arrest. But, the Madras High court dismissed it.
