Koyambedu Bus Stand Gets A New Name!

Chennai Mofussil Bus Terminus in Koyambedu has got a new name now and yes, a name board bearing “M G Ramachandran,” the late CM of Tamilnadu, had been kept at the bus stand platform arches. The CM announced about it on 30th September at the birth centenary celebration of MGR. During the latest meeting with Narendra Modi, “Edappadi K Palaniswami” has requested a name change for the Chennai Central Railway Station as Puratchi Thalaivar Dr. M G Ramachandran Central Railway Station. The officials had informed that the name boards are placed only on the platforms and soon, they would place a board in the entrance. The Koyambedu Bus Terminus was inaugurated by the late CM “Jayalalithaa” in 2012. It was planned in DMK period and launched in ADMK period.
