When the entire nation is celebrating the Gandhi Jayanti, Khushbu Sundar had spoken about the man, who built the Vaigai Dam and solved the water problems for Theni, Madurai and Dindigul districts. Yes, it is Bharata Ratna, Perunthalaivar K Kamaraj. The water stored in the Vaigai dam is the only source of irrigation in these districts and it is the drinking water source for Madurai and Aundipatti. During his tenure as Chief Minister, Kamarajar refused to have the Z-level security. He did not had any property. When he died, he just had Rs130, 2 pairs of sandals, 4 shirts, 4 dhotis and a few books. Is there any CM like him? We can confidently say NO! Today is his death anniversary.
Khusbhu praised this wonderful leader and tweeted, “No words will ever be enough to speak volumes of this man, a true people's leader in every sense..who knew nothing but serve the people.
