Janani Iyer Plays A Journalist!

Janani Iyer, who impressed everyone with her excellent performance in Avan Ivan with Vishal Reddy and “Arya” and in “Thegidi” with Ashok Selvan has been committed doing a film under the direction of Rohin, the newcomer. She will be playing a journalist in the film along with Kalaiyarasan Harikrishnan of “Madras” and “Kabali” fame and Sshivada Nair of “Nedunchalai” fame. The role of a journalist is not new to Janani, as she had already played the similar kind of role in Malayalam film, Ma Chu Ka. When asked about her new role, Janani says, "I play Sadhana, who is a smart, independent and brilliant girl. She is a lot more practical. She is very cautious even in her love. She is forthright and never beat around the bush.” The film is yet to be titled and the shooting is in a full swing. Besides this movie, she has a couple of films, “Thollaikatchi” with Ashwin Kakumanu and “Ulta” with Vijay Sethupathi.
