Ilayaraja’s 1001st Film Kalathur Gramam Is Gearing Up For The Release!

Kalathur Gramam is the upcoming film directed by Saran K Advaithan. The film is the 1001st film of Isaignani Maestro “Ilayaraja.” After hearing the narration, Ilayaraja was much impressed with the script and only then, he agreed to compose the music. The film is produced by AR Movie Paradise. Kishore Jayaram plays the lead role. Mithun Kumar makes his debut in Kalathur Gramam. Yagna Shetty pairs Kishore. Sulile Kumar, Ajay Rathnam, Deeraj Ratnam and Rajini Mahadevaiah are also in the cast. The film had been wrapped up in 60 days. The timeline story has the happenings from 1980 – 2000. Ilayaraja was impressed with the film while composing the background score. Ilayaraja’s complement is the biggest award, says the team. The film will be released in August.
