Gautamiputra Satakarni is the 100th film of Nandamuri Balakrishna, the superstar of Telugu film industry. The film stars Shriya Saran and Hema Malini in pivotal roles. It is directed by Krish Jagarlamudi. Following the huge success of “Baahubali 2,” Gautamiputra Satakarni team has planned to dub it and release it in more than 200 theaters. Gautamiputra Satakarni was the dream film of “N T Rama Rao,” the father of Balakrishna. As NTR entered politics, he was unable to commit to the film. Now, his son fulfilled his dream. Sri Rama Rajyam of Balakrishna went on well in Tamilnadu and it was a good comeback for “Nayantara.” But, Shriya is not as popular as Nayantara or Anushka Shetty among the Tamils.
