Gautami’s Revising Committee Bans Marina Puratchi!

If a film is rejected from getting the censor certificate from CBFC, then the makers could appeal to the revising committee. If the revising committee rejects a film, then it should be appealed to FCAT. Now, Marina Puratchi, which is banned for the release, was sent to the second revising committee instead of FCAT. As per the Indian Cinematograph Act 1983, the film should have been sent to the FCAT. The revising committee has actress Gautami Tadimalla as one of the active members. It is doubted that a particular organization that called itself an animal welfare organization might have been behind this ban. say the makers.
