Director Vikraman Replaces Visu as The FIlm Writers Association President

Director "Vikraman" has been chosen as the President of South Indian Film Writers Association. The election for the South Indian Film Writers Association is held once in every two years. The election for the South Indian Film Writers Association had not been held for the last four years. Following a directive by the high court, the election was held in Chennai yesterday.

The polling was held at the Covention Center in Chennai KK Nagar Bharathi Dasan colony. The polling began at 9 am in the morning. About 292 members exercised their vote during the election.

The counting of the votes began after the polling. Director Vikraman received 205 votes and was chosen as the President. Director Vikraman will be presiding over the association from 2016 - 2018.
