He doesn’t really want to become a director, but when short films came out of the blue and most of his films were shortlisted for a television reality show, he started to take cinema seriously. The fact that there are many new filmmakers were testing waters in the industry, Ravi finds it a challenge to gain a niche in the industry. As he stated, the script has to be very strong before making it as a film.
He also doesn’t want to restrict himself into one language and he would like to try working in Telugu and Malayalam films as well. He also has plans of going back to short films if given a chance and time.
