Confusion Over Savitri’s Biopic!

“Savitri,” the talented multilingual actress’ biopic is planned and the film will be directed by Nag Ashwin as Tamil and Telugu bilingual. When the film was announced, it was said that Samantha Ruth Prabhu would be playing Savitri. The audiences supported the cast, as Sam’s structure and her performance would go well with Savitrima. But, as Sam is gearing up for her marriage with Naga Chaitanya, the director thought that it wouldn’t be right to cast Sam in the lead role. So, he booked Keerthy Suresh to do the lead role. Later, it was said that Sam would be doing the role of Jamuna, the contemporary actress in Savitri’s reign. Then, it is said that Samantha will be playing the role of Gemini Ganesan’s first wife, Bobji. Still, the confusion is going on. Earlier, it was said that Suriya Sivakumar would play the role of Gemini Ganesan. But, the actor denied the rumors.
