Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora Informs About Lok Sabha Elections 2019 Rules!

The Lok Sabha election dates are announced and the elections are held all over India in seven phases. The election will start on 11th April 2019 and will end on 18th May 2019. The votes will be counted on 23rd May. There are 90 crores voters and 10 lakh voting booths. Although the Parliamentary polls are announced, the by-polls in Tamilnadu are not yet announced. 

Sunil Arora, the Chief Election Commissioner, informs about the upcoming Lok Sabha Polls. Sunil said that Security Forces are arranged to give protection to the public while voting and hence they could vote without fear. CRPF Jawans will also be employed to host the election safely. Booth slip is not a Voter’s ID. Besides booth slip, the voters should bring with them, the needed proof including the voter’s ID as said by the EC, while voting. The public will be informed about who they polled. 15 crore new voters are added. 1.5 crore voters are of 18-19 years, informed Sunil Arora.
