Now, a case had been filed against Velmurugan under three sections for causing harm to the state’s peace. It is stated that his speech was provoking a riot and hence the case had been filed. On 27th September, a protest was held to force the release of seven people in the Rajiv Gandhi Assassination case and in that protest, Velmurugan had spoken something controversially.
