Tamilnadu Theater Owners Association has taken a bold decision to stop selling the foreign food products and drinks in their canteen. From 26th January 2017, the theaters will not sell Pepsi and Coca-Cola products. This is indeed a bold decision. Hope, it might be welcomed by the youngsters and students, who protested to lift the ban on Jallikattu and requested the government to ban the foreign drinks like Pepsi and Coke. While they protest, a hotel in Tirunelveli, announced that they would not sell Pepsi and Coke and the products related to them. A theater replaced tender coconut for those soft drinks. Now, the Tamilnadu Theater Owners Association announced that they would ban these drinks in their theaters.
