AN 32 aircraft that belongs to the Indian Air Force started from Jorhat in Assam, carrying 13 people. While it traveled over the hilly area in the northeast, it had gone missing. It was traveling to Mechuka. Normally, the flights that fly between Jorhat and Mechuka will take 50 minutes. But, the aircraft AN 32 is said to take off at 12:25 pm and till now, it didn’t reach its destination and no other details are received from the flight. The last contact between the flight and the ground crew was at 1 pm. Essential search operations had already been screwed up to find the missing flight. Besides the air force team, Indian Army and Indo-Tibetan Border police have involved in the search.
The New Defense Minister, Rajnath Singh tweeted, “Spoke to Vice Chief of @IAF_MCC, Air Marshal Rakesh Singh Bhadauria regarding the missing IAF AN-32 Aircraft which is overdue for some hours.” Let’s pray that all the people in the flight should be safe and let the Search team find them soon and rescue them!
