As the Petrol price is changing daily, All India Petrol Dealers Association decided to go on for a strike from 12th July. Recently, the Petrol Prices have been changed daily, unlike the periodical changes. This has brought loss to the dealers and hence they want to have price protection. As the Oil Marketing Companies and the All India Petrol Dealers Association couldn’t come to a conclusion relating to the pricing issue of Petrol and Diesel, the Association has announced this strike. The AIPDA announced the strike, as they find a lack of transparency in the pricing. The changes in the Petrol and Diesel prices are made with the help of the Petrol Vending Machine’s password. The Oil Marketing Companies agreed to install the automated system at the pumps. But, they didn’t accomplish it and now, it becomes the main reason for the strike.
