Ajith had been playing many films for Nic Arts "S.S.Chakravarthy." When Chakravarthy was in financial trouble, he called Subramanyam and requested him to recommend Ajith to do a film under his banner. As Chakravarthy had a tiff with Ajith, he didn’t meet him personally during the time. However, Subramanyam met Ajith and explained the situation.
