Aishwarya Rai To Play A Dual Role?

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan recently confirmed that she would be playing a role in her guru Mani Ratnam movie. Except this, she didn’t reveal anything about the film. She is more thrilled to work with the director again after “Ravan,” stated Aishwarya. The sources say that the actress will be playing a dual role in the historical flick, Ponniyin Selvan.

Although Mani Ratnam didn’t reveal about the film, some say that it is a historical film and some other say that it is just the adaption of Ponniyin Selvan like the films he took from Mahabharata, “Thalapathi” and Ramayana, “Ravanan.” It is heard that Jio Studios will bankroll the film and “A R Rahman” will compose the music. The movie also stars Chiyaan Vikram, “Sathyaraj,” Karthik Sivakumar, Keerthy Suresh, Jayam Ravi, Aadhi Pinisetty, Amala Paul and Mohan Babu.
