, has said that the South Indian film industry makes the cine field progress ahead. Also, he added that South Indian cinema attributes to majority of the revenue in the Indian film industry. Recently, the IIFA (International Indian Film Academy )Festival was launched. Resul Pookutty spoke on the occasion.
He conveyed his happiness that the South Indian cine field received its share of recognition. He also added that his anguish regarding unfair treatment to the Southern Industry has been wiped out following recognition to the Southern Cinema. In the IIFA Utsav, Southern Actors bagged many accolades which in turn has made him happy.
Also, he spoke of the movie Baahubali and the character Katappa in it which is more popular than three Khans of the North.
