, the popular Malayalam actress, died last week. She committed suicide by mixing poison in the cool drinks. It is reported that she had killed herself, as she couldn’t bear the pain due to cancer. If at all her husband didn’t alert the driver to look at her, none would have searched for her. Her neighbours didn’t know that Rekha had returned home and they thought that she had gone for outdoor shooting for serials. Rekha’s husband, Mohan Krishnan had been in Malaysia. After his recent visit to Thrissur, Rekha had taken this decision. Rekha and Mohan have no children. After her marriage, Rekha quit the films and settled in family life. As she felt bored, she came back to India and acted in serials. Her suicide news has shocked the entire film and TV industry.
