, the popular cinema cum serial artist, was found dead in her apartment in Thrissur. As her husband Mohan Krishnan, who was in Malaysia, was unable to contact her for more than two days, he suspected something strange. Mohan called his driver in Thrissur and asked him to visit Rekha. As the driver didn’t get any response after knocking the door for a long time, he informed the police. They found her dead on the dining table, after breaking the door. After the postmortem, it was said that she had mixed poison in her cool drinks and committed suicide. As Rekha had cancer and she suffered from severe pain, these reports were believed.
