hitting the screens in 205 theaters in Kerala and beating the record by Pulimurugan. The movie amassed Rs 4.32 crore in the box-office collection on Day 1. Now, the Mohanlal starrer 1971: Beyond Borders is bracing up for release, and the movie is to hit the silver screens on April 7th. The movie is a directorial venture by Major Ravi.
The movie will be released in 200 theaters, and it is set to break the record made by The Great Father’s first day collections. The movie happens to be a war drama and has been set in two different timelines. One is during the 1071 Indo-Pakistan war, and the other is the present. The movie has Mohanlal doing two roles, one as Colonel Mahadevan and another as his father, Major Sahadevan.
