According to the director, Shamili will be seen in a traditional look of a girl during the 90’s, but her character is also intrepid. She and Kunchacko will act as a couple in a film that is slated to go on floors in October. Shamili was happy to be cast with the actor and shared that he knew Kunchacko from the time that he was working with Shalini. He used to come to their house and spend time with their family and so their relationship is quite good.

She also divulged that her character in the film appears to be fun and brave and there is so much heft in the heroine’s part as well. She adds that the film is primarily a love story and she will be seen sporting a retro look. Shamili was born and raised up in Chennai and she doesn’t speak Malayalam but she is hoping that her fluency in Tamil can help her in mouthing the dialogues.

' and after that she just disappeared from the industry. She explained that she did Oi after college and the film came as a good offer at that time. But her dream is to study in Singapore so she applied for the course while filming Oi and when she got accepted, she took a hiatus from acting to pursue her studies, which she claims as one of the best times of her life.
